Tool Tracking & Maintenance

Included in: Optimize

TrackStock is software for tool crib management and maintenance of tools

Many contractors want to track who has their tools: even the more typical ones like hammers and extension cords. TrackStock's Tool Tracking & Maintenance feature makes this simple. TrackStock assigns a serial number to these tools and keeps track of the individuals who have checked them in and out. More expensive tools that have their own serial numbers are individually tracked so technicians know who last had them. If they need calibration, TrackStock prevents them from being checked out until they have been serviced and placed back into inventory.

Some tools need preventive maintenance to stay in service. Technicians can use a “work order” on all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on their tools to capture maintenance records as well as parts and labor that were required for the maintenance. When techs set up maintenance schedules for their tools, they can specify when they’d like to receive an email notification about the upcoming maintenance. They can use TrackStock's Reports Feature to display all of an asset’s maintenance history at any time.

Work orders not only record the maintenance on the asset, but also trigger replenishment orders to make sure that the right parts are replenished when the work is finished.
